The Control Systems Engineering Department Electrical Controls, is looking to hire an experienced Controls Engineer. In this role you will analyze, design and apply electrical controls for substations and generating stations. This includes controls, metering, alarms, automation and communications. The candidate should be familiar with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA) and Energy Management Systems (EMS). Candidate should be familiar with electrical metering including transducer, CT and PT concepts. He/she will be will be project engineer for the installation of new and existing station control systems and will be responsible for monitoring schedules and costs. Candidate will prepare construction and equipment purchase specifications. He/she will review schematic and wiring diagrams, analyze test result data, and provide field support. Candidate should be familiar with Station DC power systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Station alarm systems and relay protection. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Senior Engineer (2H): Requires at least 8 years experience and expertise in the application of control systems. (73K-135K). Engineer (2L): Must have 3 years experience and/or knowledge in electrical controls. (64K-119K). Company offers comprehensive compensation and benefits including relocation.
