A global leader in the field of specialty chemicals is actively interviewing for a degreed Electrical Engineer or person with equivalent industrial experience that has strong Industrial Instrumentation experience; specifically Delta V system. The right person will be experienced with PLC and DCS systems, experienced in maintenance and repair of instrumentation such as transmitters, and experienced with variable frequency drives. You must be knowledgeable of both the Electrical Codes (Class I, Division 1 and 2 classifications) and the Industrial Safety Codes. Candidates with 8 to 10 years experience in a Chemical facility will be given top consideration. Candidates with less than 8 years experience in other facilities and strong skills in the above will be given strong consideration. This position will evolve into a management/supervision position to be over the electrical and instrumentation group for this location. Salary will be commensurate with your experience and skills. Relocation assistance might be available for the right person.
Questions you will be asked:

• Strong Industrial Instrumentation experience is required for this position. How does your background meet this requirement and are you familiar with Delta V systems?

• Describe your background with PLC and DCS systems, and have you repaired instrumentation such as transmitters for temperature, pressure, weight and level?

• How knowledgeable are you in the Electrical Codes (Class I, Division 1 and 2 classifications) and the Industrial Safety Codes? Does your resume reflect this?

• Have your managed or supervised the installing, repairing, and or replacing of electrical systems such as three phase 440 volt starters and wiring of chemical process equipment such as pumps, agitators, etc?

• What is your present salary? And What is your desired salary for this position?
