SEEKING TO HIRE IMMEDIATELY: Long term contract position with a large Ohio Company for an Project Instrumentation and Control Engineer with a BSEE or MSEE and a minimum of 10 years experience with I&C systems design of DCS such as Ovation and comparable systems for fossil, gas, coal power plants. Experience must include P & ID s as related to instrumentation issues, process system descriptions, control communication network diagrams, and process elementary diagrams. Additionally, experience will include process wiring and cabling diagrams, process instrumentation specifications, and one line diagrams as related to control issues. Experience with SAMA and Boolean logic diagrams should also be included. Candidate will be able to read and interpret documents defining the design basis for A/E work scopes and provide oversight of architect/engineers (A/E) instrumentation and control system(s) design progress and compliance with the Design Basis via visits to A/Es facilities, equipment vendor facilities, and project construction sites. Knowledge working with customer and EPC companies in coordinating engineering activities and define interface responsibilities between customer and A/Es with respect to integration of new and existing facilities, equipment, and controls. Experience with providing technical support and oversight during control system factory check outs, construction, and start-up of the FGD process. Experience with DCS Systems is desired. Per diem and mobilization may be available for qualified candidates.
Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your experience as a Project Instrumentation and Control Engineer with experience with I&C systems design of DCS such as Ovation and comparable systems for fossil, gas, coal power plants.
