Client has an immediate need for a Construction Superintendent/Tower Erection Coordinator for a wind farm EPC project in Wisconsin. Our client is looking for someone that has worked on wind farm projects and is familiar with tower & turbine erection. You should have structural steel rigging and erection experience. In addition to overseeing the erection, you will also be involved in logistic coordination of the component deliveries. You will work closely with the trucking firm and the turbine mfg to know what components are coming in on any given day; which sites they are going to; insuring the routing is clear; coordinating with the other contractors on site etc. Once you have the components on site, you will then inspect and begin the process of verifying the correct erection and assembly. You will be required to write reports and document construction progress, Change Orders, QC forms, etc. You will be involved in QC inspections, advance crew planning/scheduling, landowner relations, permit compliance, and material coordination. This assignment will last 3-4 months in length. You should expect to work 6, 10 hour days. The client will pay for mob, demob, and a per diem.
