Civil Designer - Energy/Civil/Design

Our Client, who is a leader in the Energy Industry, has an immediate need for a Lead Civil Engineer. This is a long term contract position with a potential duration of 3 plus years. The expected qualifications is to have a BSCE or equivalent and 10 or more years of power plant design and analysis experience in nuclear power with demonstrated leadership skills. Must have experience developing and coordinating development of design change packages in the nuclear industry. Have proficient knowledge of USNRC Regulatory Guides, AISC, ACI, AWS, and ASME NF codes as well as use of USAS B31.1, ASME Section III, ANSI, ASME Code Cases and WRC Bulletins. Demonstrated proficiency utilizing following computer programs; GT Strudl, Word, Excel and familiarity with base plate finite element analysis computer program. Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of Superpipe analysis program. Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of Cylnoz and ASME Code cases to evaluate local piping stresses at welded Pipe attachments. A demonstrated understanding and knowledge of pipe support design and installation criteria is a plus.
