IMMEDIATE OPENING-Large Engineering Company located in Western Pa. that specializes in High Temperature Furnaces for the Metals Industry has an opportunity for a Project Manager who has worked in the Metals Industry. Our client manufactures high temperature processing furnaces using induction process, convection cooling and automatic control processes to manage cooling and heating. Each furnace is custom-made to meet the specific needs of their customer.
The successful candidate will manage assigned projects in accordance with contract requirements, within budget, timeline and acceptable risk parameters. The candidate will provide overall guidance, interface and direction with regard to technical matters during development of the project through the course of engineering, fabrication, delivery, erection and commissioning of the project. Additionally you will maintain effective communication throughout the project with the customer, management and project team. An engineering degree is a plus but experience in a similar working environment will be considered. International and domestic travel is required about 25% of the time. Experience as a project engineer with high temperature processing furnaces is necessary. Project Scheduling and Project Cost Control capability (MS Project and Excel proficiency) is desirable. Previous experience coordinating engineering, fabrication, construction and commissioning activities is desirable. International business experience, particularly in Letter of Credits and Logistics, a strong plus BA/BS in Business or Engineering required ; an MBA would be a plus. APPLY TODAY
