IMMEDIATE NEED for a Transmission O&M Engineer by our energy services client in SE Arizona! Prime duties of this position are to: conduct short circuit and coordination studies within power delivery systems, member co-op systems and other utilities; develop and maintain budgets, detailed drawings, schedules, material and construction support for substation enhancement projects; commission new substation and retrofit projects; and evaluate, design and change control circuitry when needed. Candidates MUST HAVE: BSEE, with concentration in Power a Strong Plus, 0-10 years experience performing operations and maintenance work in power substations and power generation, and extensive knowledge of computer systems and databases. PLUSES: EIT; familiarity with utility protective relaying application, control scheme design, electrical apparatus testing, relay testing, meter testing and substation automation/integration; knowledge of relaying and substation automation/integration communications; knowledge of ASPEN OneLiner and ASPEN Relay database software. Very competitive total compensation (salary is commensurate with experience). Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
