Maintenance Technician - Senior/PLC Skills/Troubleshoot

A fast-growing, established, manufacturing company has an immediate need for a Senior Maintenance Technician in central Illinois (experience in training others is important). *Local candidates please. Ideal candidate will have 5 plus years in the maintenance field. Seeking a self-directed and motivated individual able to work with minimal supervision. Requires good people and training skills. Knowledge of preventive maintenance. Good technical problem solving skills. Will be working around high speed machinery, ovens and chillers. There can be lifting of up to 70 lbs. Knowledge of AC/DC drives and their controls is a must. Position will be responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of all plant machinery and supporting equipment. This includes mechanical, electrical and some building. Also train other technicians and share knowledge and advise on improvements. Experience with cast extrusion / laminating process and converting equipment a plus. Benefits are excellent. Technical degree or equivalent.
