URGENT NEED! Experienced Project Engineers / System Champions needed near Dubuque, Iowa to work through shut downs and construction phases. The Project Engineers will be responsible for rolling out of the new initiatives in the existing plants. They will also be responsible for large and small projects including: Servicing of the compressor; Steam methane reformer tube change out; Various multi-million dollar projects under the commissioning umbrella. The desired candidate is a Mechanical Engineer with a background in Rotating and fixed equipment. This is an intermediate / advanced general person with a high level of expertise and experience. MUST BE EITHER: Degreed Engineer with 5 years experience; OR Non-degreed person with at least 15 years experience as a Project Engineer. Additional RESPONSIBILITIES include: Oversee scope of work ; Supervise an engineering group; Ensure that the group provides accurate quality deliverables; Ensure follow through and execution of the construction effort and into the turnover and commissioning of the plant during the turnaround.
