Our client, a manufacturer and marketer of styrene-butadiene rubbers, is in search of a Project Engineer. Must have a BSME and five years work experience in a chemical plant. Will be responsible for engineering, time, costs, and quality of projects that are approved under the AFE (Association for Facilities Engineering) procedures. Must have experience in Process Hazard Analysis (HAZOP) of existing facilities and for new capital projects, Management Of Change (MOC), and OSHA regulations. Experience in Managing Time and Material projects is a plus. Will need to be experienced in reviewing/approving drawings and specifications, preparing quotation and purchase requisitions, preparing contract bid requests, selecting best bids, and managing vendors. Need to be proficient in AutoCAD and Project Management Tools, and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
