Manufacturer of custom products in the Buffalo, New York area is looking for an experienced 3D Designer with sheet metal design experience. Must know AutoCAD and 3D modeling, preferably Inventor. Design custom products including sheet metal housings from start to finish. Some piping and electrical involved but MUST know sheet metal design and forming, plus electrical wiring layouts, P&ID development, piping systems. MS Office required. Excellent benefits but no relocation is available so only local candidates will be considered.
Questions you will be asked:
• Please tell us about your experience using AutoCAD - what version and how many hours?
• Please tell us about your experience using 3D CAD - what package and how many hours?
• Tell us about your experience with sheet metal design - give examples of projects.
• Tell us about your experience designing electrical layouts and piping systems.
• The client cannot pay any relocation expenses. Where do you live now? What is your current pay rate? When can you start work?
