Electrical Engineer - Breaker/Elect. Nuclear/Performance Maint 40-54.81 $/hr

Location: Dothan, AL, USA
Contract assignment with a large company seeking an Electrical Breaker Engineer with a minimum of 8 years experience nuclear power plant related engineering experience. Requires a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering and working knowledge of electrical component performance monitoring, and several years nuclear plant experience or with a breaker OEM. Requires a familiarity with medium voltage (4kV level) metal clad switchgear and circuit breakers (preferably Eaton Cutler-Hammer Vacuum and/or Allis Chalmers MA air circuit breakers). Experience should include knowledge of EPRI/NMAC circuit breaker program documents that has supported the nuclear power plan and trending. should be proficient in working with nuclear plant maintenance procedures. Experience with vendor technical interface, working with maintenance technicians, design interface experience and skill with electrical component troubleshooting. Experience in developing, 4kV circuit breaker tracking system, 4kV circuit breaker performance parameters and 4kV circuit breaker performance trending elements with graded performance indicators. Must be able to be badged at a Nuclear Power Generation plant within the U.S. Per Diem and Relocation will be considered for the qualified candidate.
Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your experience as an Electrical Breaker Engineer with experience nuclear power plant related engineering experience.
