IMMEDIATE NEED in the north east Atlanta, GA for a Sales Application Engineer who has a Bachelors degree in either Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 5 years work experience with new combustion technologies and applications ( bubbling fluidized bed, biomass, circulating fluidized bed, flue gas cleaning, etc ). Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for processing and qualifying sales inquiries; conducting system sizing; system selection and performing economic analyses; engineering selection; customer support; bid strategy; detailed proposal preparation; technical presentations to customers; work with internal and external customers ( A & E firms, equipment suppliers and vendors ). Travel is required in this position. This position is bonus eligible. Your compensation will be commensurate with your experience and expertise. Relocation assistance may be available.
Questions you will be asked:

• From what accredited college or university did you graduate and what Engineering degree do you presently hold?

• Tell us about your sales experience with new combustion technologies: 1) bubbling fluidized bed, 2) biomass, 3) circulating fluidized bed, 4) flue gas cleaning.

• If you can identify your present customers without creating problems for yourself in your present position, please identify your largest 3 customers.

• Tell us about your most recent sales success including the dollar value that was generated in this sale and your exact role in the process.
