Leading engineering firm in the oil and gas industry has an immediate need for a Riser Engineer for their office in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will have a BS or MS in Engineering (emphasis on Structural, Mechanical, or Engineering Mechanics) and 5-10 years of experience as a Riser Engineer. Experience with riser modeling and VIV analysis (TTR Top Tension Risers and SCR Steel Cantenary Risers). Candidate will need experience with riser instrumentation systems, competency in wet and dry system solutions, working knowledge of project management and the CVP (Cost-Volume-Profit) process.
