Wiconsin Energy company seeks an experienced Process Engineer AND a Lead Process Engineer. Selected Candidates will be responsible for: Using chemical engineering skills to synthesize new process designs for chemical and liquid fuel production; Develop process flow diagrams, heat & material balances, piping & instrument drawings, and economic estimates of chemical processes from initial concept to final design; Work with R&D and Business Development to identify and prioritize liquid fuel and chemical products targeted for commercialization; Develop heat and mass transport models of reactors and other chemical processing equipment using accepted engineering practices. Preference will be given for experience with the following: Heterogeneous catalysis systems and reactor designs for liquid fuel and chemical production; Traditional liquid fuels (refining of petroleum to make gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel; Aspen Plus; Processing of biomass-derived feedstocks; Computational Fluid Dynamics modeling; Process safety and EH&S programs and principles (e.g., PHA, HAZOP, LOPA).
Additional Requirements: Process Engineer: BS in Chemical Engineering and 3-5 years relevant experience. Lead Process Engineer: BS, MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering with 7-10 years relevant experience. Excellent benefits and competitive salary commensurate with experience. Apply now!
