Geotechnical Engineer - Civil/Renewable Energy/Bio-fuels 100-125 K/yr

A large company in the Philadelphia area is actively searching for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. The ideal candidate is required to have a minimum of 10 - 15 years of progressive professional experience and an advanced degree in geotechnical engineering. The candidate has to be self-motivated and interested in working with a highly qualified team of engineering professionals to provide support on a national level. A successful candidate will be able to mentor junior engineering staff and integrate geotechnical work with other disciplines as part of a design build team. Projects can range from wind, solar, bio-fuel facilities to marine, industrial, solid waste, and military facilities throughout all 50 states. Past experience should include: coupled soil-structure interaction, tower foundations, marine structures, geologic hazards mitigation, facility design, geotechnical characterization, dewatering, and more. Skills for analysis, knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques and have deep understanding of the civil and structural ramifications of geotechnical issues should be possessed. The selected candidate should enjoy working on projects from inception to completion and being part of a motivated and highly skilled team.

• Describe your geotechnical engineering experience. How many years?

• Describe your experience with wind, solar, bio-fuel, marine, industrial, solid waste and military facilities experience. How many years in each area?

• Detail your experience with coupled soil-structure interaction, tower foundations, marine structures, geologic hazards mitigation, facility design, geotechnical characterization, or dewatering. How many years in each area?

• Describe your experience with mentoring junior engineers. How many years?
