GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!
An Electronics Design and Manufacturing company located in Central CA is seeking a Transformer Design Engineer with at least 2 years experience in design, covering a broad range of magnetic components including transformers, inductors, power supplies and power distribution products. The successful candidate will have a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, and should have experience in transformer design from. 1 to 500 KVA. The candidate should also have experience in the design and layout of next assemblies and high voltage experience from the 35-150 KV range. The candidate should have demonstrated abilities in thermal design and layout, AutoCAD, experience in oil and dry type transformers, experience in coil winding process, experience with UL, and experience in CSA and TUV specifications. The candidate must be able to design to customer specifications and will be involved in all phases of magnetics engineering, from proposals to product development including technical interface with customers to achieve highly reliable, rugged, manufacturable transformers.
