Our client who is a global supplier and manufacturer of speciality tubing in carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and nickel alloy is searching for a Process Engineer to work at their northern Indiana plant. The right candidate must be self-motivated, have a high sense of urgency, be able to problem solve complex situations, and is resourceful. Must be computer literate and able to use programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Microsoft Project, and Auto Cad proficiently.
Will need to have Bachelor degree in Engineering although a BSME is preferred and a minimum of five years manufacturing experience is required. In this role, the right candidate will be responsible for the overall improvement of the plants manufacturing process. This will involve the planning, organizing and leading the activities that define the production process that will support the designed changes to improve safety, quality, and manufacturing efficiency. Utilization of lean manufacturing techniques, 80/20 and Kaizen is required. Must be able to use programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Microsoft Project, and Auto Cad proficiently.
