IMMEDIATE NEED!!! Client located in southeast New York has immediate need for a Principal Aerodynamic Engineer. Requirements should include a B.S. degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred); 5+ years project engineering experience related to blade design of turbo machinery with CFD and FEA analysis tools; Noise and vibration experience; Military Aerospace background preferred. Key product experience will include the design of blades and fans for cooling systems that can be used to cool jet engines. The primary focus of this position is to lead a product development team in mechanical and aerodynamic design of high performance rotating equipment (ie. blade design for turbomachinery). The selected candidate will be the product champion as he/she will work directly with customers to help fully specify their product requirements and lead the project team from inception of the new design to the final manufactured product to the customer. Project experience should include integrating aerodynamic, motor, and electronic technologies into the final product. Posted salary is an approximation. Salary offered will depend on experience. Excellent benefits and relocation available.
