Location: Slidell, LA, USA
Great opportunity for a Drafter/Checker in Slidell, LA. The right candidate will have 7-10 years of experience with a BS degree or equivalent in design/drafting & checking. You will be responsible for checking structural, hydraulic as well mechanical, electrical components, and assembly drawings. You should be proficient with ANSI Y 14.5 M as well as other specified industrial or military standards. Other responsibilities include; verifying form, fit, and function, accuracy and completeness of design information. Verifying drawings and associated list to Program and company requirements.
Some of the requirements of the position are; preparing and revising existing AutoCAD drawings, prepare and revise engineering Bill of Material to facilitate Supply Management, ability to interface with directly with vendors. Plenty of room for growth with this company!

• How many years of design-checking experience do you have?

• How much AutoCAD experience do you have? Have you worked with other CAD packages?

• Have you worked with schematics and assembly drawings associated with complex vehicle systems?

• Are you able to obtain a military security clearance?
