Well established innovators in the Turbomachinery industry has IMMEDIATE needs for 2 Field Sales Engineer for its location in Donora, PA. Act as principal customer interface and advocate. Identify potential markets currently not being penetrated, for future sales growth. A thorough technical knowledge of mechanical equipment design, operation, application, and maintenance. An engineering degree (BSME) or equivalent, 5 years work related experience or 10 years for senior level. The ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into saleable ideas and proposals. Special courses needed basic repair techniques and maintenance procedure updates useful. Basic training in repair of equipment, e.g. combustion turbines, large steam turbines. Possessing thorough commercial knowledge of assigned industries and overview of typical processes. Field sales, service representative, market or application experience in the same products and markets. The ability to communicate quickly, clearly, forcefully and tactfully with customers. Verbal and written communication skills. Promotional and selling skills to go after and close business in both familiar and new markets. Ability to organize and manage time and territory in a motivated, self-directed manner. Within assigned territories, establish and/or strengthen customer contacts to secure budgeted sales volume on aftermarket related products and services. Accomplishing these tasks requires: Selling (persuading, convincing, and closing orders) Directing (shop/parts support personnel to provide necessary workscope and pricing information) Analyzing and evaluating customer's need.
