Mechanical Engineer - Automotive/Analysis/Defense

NEED AUTOMOTIVE ANALYSIS ENGINEER ASAP!

Client involved in the design, production, and support of advanced marine craft and combat vehicles are in need of an Automotive Analysis Engineer who can perform automotive software modeling analysis on existing or modified vehicles as well as new vehicle concepts. This person will perform and validate performance calculations and simulations in order to assure conformity with applicable Regulatory Body or Specifications requirements. You should possess a BS Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with at least 5-7 years of experience. It is also preferred that you have vehicle performance and mobility analysis experience. Other requirements include; working knowledge in the use of 3D computer aided design software packages. If you have Unigraphics NX5 that is a plus.It is also required that you have a strong familiarity with manual and CAD performance and mobility analysis practices and calculation methods; MSC ADAMS, CarSim and NRMM software packages.
There may be some travel required in the Continental US.
*Must be able to obtain SECRET security clearance.

• Please describe your experience using CAD systems 2d or 3d. Which software packages have you used? Do you have any experience with Unigraphics NX5?

• How much experience do you have performing mobility and performance analysis on existing or modified vehicles? Please explain.

• Please elaborate on your experience with mobility analysis, writing specifications, testing, and failure analysis.

• Do you have experience with any or all of the following software packages? MSC ADAMS, CarSim and NRMM? Please provide detail on which one you have used.

• Describe your modeling and simulation experience as it relates to vehicle mobility and performance analysis.
