Immediate need for a QA/QC Director in a company headquatered in SE CT, with Projects throughout New York, New England, the mid-west and Texas. Candidates must have BS/BA in Quality Engineering, Management or equivalent industry experience, along with 5 to 10 years minimum QA/QC experience. You must also be a certified QA or QC inspector for this position. Daily responsibilities include working with material management team to coordinate inspections during delivery of all materials to project areas. Implementation of Quality Program including creation and or confirmation of all checklists required to support the project. Will also have to provide regularly scheduled reporting on status of all projects under construction/pre-construction or under development. Coordinate with Project Controls group on schedule updates for all projects. Providing regular input to and leading weekly training meetings. Initiate and/or supervise any required updates to Quality Plan and matrixes to meet changing project requirements. Travel to other projects will be required.
