Well established and continually growing company in the Washington D.C. area seeks Mechanical Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in the design of HVAC for commercial buildings. Types of projects include full service hotels, condominiums, spec office buildings, tenant up-fits, and garden style apartments. A candidate with any combination of design experience in 4-pipe hydronic, watersource heat pumps, packaged RTU's and split system DX will be considered. Strong AutoCAD experience is a must. Must also have a 4 year engineering degree (PE would be a HUGE plus!). Experience in full service hotel design is a HUGE plus! Experience with Trane Trace load software is also a plus. Candidates responsibilities include preparing contract drawings and specifications, submittal reviews, site reviews and RFI responses.
