Global leader in the research and development of eye care products has an IMMEDIATE need for a Microbiology Manager, for its' Mississauga, Canada location. Sterile manufacturing is the core of this client's business and since the products are manufactured and filled under controlled environments, the major function of this position is to evaluate an overall picture of microbial control in the clean room environment, personnel and utilities and to ensure compliance with regulations and continuous improvement. A B.Sc. in Microbiology or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years experience preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong communication, team building, supervisory, and interpersonal skills. Sound judgment and problem solving abilities. Effective verbal and written communication with a good command of the English language. Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) and Lotus Notes. Familiar with cGMP/GMP/ISO regulations. Excellent leadership and team player skills, well disciplined, with superior organizational and management skills. Perform annual trend analysis of environmental personnel, water and sterility test data and make and implementation of recommendation for continuous improvement of overall clean room operation.
Please Note: This is a Managerial position. Must possess strong leadership skill sets and deep understanding of compliance and regulations.
