IMMEDIATE NEED - READY TO GO TO WORK!
Engineering client in the east Bay Area of California needs an AutoCAD Designer with substation structural layout experience. Under the general supervision of Engineers, prepare and develop physical layouts for electric substation construction prints, including physical layouts, structural and site layouts. Develop one line, schematic, and wiring diagrams. Develop material lists for substation and layouts. This requires a minimum of 4 years direct experience in AutoCAD structural design for substations and other utility projects in the utility industry. Must be expert in using AutoCAD, and MicroStation experience is a plus. Experience directing the workflow of others is desired as well. This is a full time position but the client prefers to hire temp-to-hire. Local candidates only - no relocation available. Please also see related positions 66345 and 66428.
