Location: Concord, CA, USA
A power and transmission engineering client in Concord, California is seeking Entry Level Substation Design Engineers. This is a full time position but the client prefers to hire temp-to-hire. This person will design transmission and distribution substation and switching, including writing specifications for equipment, and preparation of construction prints and bid documents. Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering with Power emphasis from a major university and demonstrated experience with High Voltage substation design (up to 500kv). Utility experience is preferred, either full time, intern, or co-op. FE - EIT registration in California is preferred but not essential. Must be proficient with Microsoft Project and Office, and proficiency with AutoCAD would be a plus. Local East Bay Area California candidates only, as no relocation is available.
