Great opportunity! Large paper manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer with at least 1-year of experience in the paper manufacturing industry. You will assist the production staff in managing the Power/Recovery area. You will be involved in project work focused on safety, environmental, energy, productivity and cost reduction issues. You will assist team leaders with process troubleshooting and trial work, support disciplined manufacturing efforts, assist with repair day and annual outage execution and work with Engineering to identify and justify capital expenditures. A BS degree from an accredited school is required, preferably in chemical, mechanical, electrical, pulp and paper technology, or related engineering field. You must have good interpersonal skills with a high degree of self-motivation, You must be familiar with PC applications and you must be able to work in a team-concept environment. Experience with power/recovery operations in pulp and paper manufacturing would be a plus. The position offers full benefits including medical, dental and vision plans, 401K, an employee incentive plan and paid holidays. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
