Client that specializes in the engineering, construction & service of chemical process plants has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a CAD Manager to join their team. You need to have 15-20+ years of experience in equipment layout & arrangement and piping layout & arrangement using AutoCad, Bentley, or a similar software in a design/drafting capacity for plant or process systems. You should have some experience working for an A&E or Design Build company (Jacobs, Bechtel, Shaw, Sargent & Lundy, Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell, etc...) involved in designing & constructing heavy industrial plants (power plants, refineries, chemical process plants, pulp & paper, etc...). The ideal candidate will have experience with chemical process, refinery, or petrochemical plant EPC projects. You need a BS degree in Engineering. You will be responsible for managing the development of engineering design drawings by using input from design disciplines (process, mechanical, I&C, electrical, structural) for dehydration, grain-to-ethanol, and other chemical processing systems. These drawings will include process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layouts and arrangements (plans and sections), piping layouts arrangements, and overall facility and site plans included is assessing prospective client plants. You will be expected to manage schedules, coordinate projects and man-hours in the CAD Group. You will also be expected to create the company Design Piping Standards and Procedures. Client offers excellent pay, benefits & relocation package.

• How many years of experience do you have as a CAD-Design or Supervisor? How many people did you manage?

• How much experience do you have with process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layouts and arrangements (plans and sections), piping layouts arrangements, and overall facility and site plans?

• Do you have experience working for an A&E or Design Build company? Which companies did you work for?
