Company ACTIVELY SEEKING Engineering Supervisor in the Tulsa, OK area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the work of approximately six Design Engineers, as well as performing design and analysis as directed to support various field and fabrication offices. Perform advanced design checks on tanks, foundations, structural systems and floating roofs. Capable of developing new automated design programs using MathCAD.
QUALIFICATIONS: 6+ years of civil or mechanical engineering experience. 2+ years of previous engineering supervisory project management experience
BS or MS in Engineering. Professional Engineer License or ability to get PE license within one (1) year of accepting the job. Advanced knowledge of strength of materials
Working knowledge of MathCAD is preferred. Preferred knowledge of ring beam foundations and pontoon floating roofs. Preferred knowledge of numerical methods of structural analysis. Experience in AISC-ASD, API-620, API-650 and API-653 or ASME vessel design experience strongly preferred. AutoCAD, MathCAD and various structural analysis and vessel design software with are used during this job.
