Location: Farmingdale, NY, USA
IMMEDIATE NEED on Long Island for a Designer / Drafter who has a minimum of 1 - 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment. You MUST BE college or technical school training in mechanical drawing and related areas and be proficient with AutoCAD, ( 1 year minimum of CAD experience designing and providing detailed drawings for manufacturing ), SDRC I-DEAS expertise is preferred. Reporting to the Design / Drafting Supervisor you will be responsible for: preparing detail and assembly drawings; interacting with Project Engineers and Design Engineers and the Manufacturing department to design and develop technical and manufactured products; consulting with sales and marketing determining the customer and market preference for products. If you are beginning your career or are ready to move to a more responsible position, please apply. There is no relocation or per diem associated to this position. To be successfully considered for this position, you MUST BE a U. S. citizen.
