A well established chemical company located in Houston, TX has an opening for a Business Development Manager in their Chemical Products division. This position will be responsible to act as sales manager for all current and future sales customers, identify and develop growth opportunities for the business, coordinate raw material purchases, help to optimize sales logistics, and oversee contract administration. To be considered you must have a 4 year technical degree ( Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred ). Client is looking for someone with approximately 10 years of professional work experience with at least 2 or more years of sales experience and business development with a heavy industrial or technology company. Proven experience with establishing industry-wide networks, skills identifying and capturing market requirements, proven sales, marketing and negotiating experience, and competency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software are needed to be successfully considered. A knowledge of oil and gas processing technologies is also needed. Must be willing to travel as required domestic and international. Relocation assistance will be considered for eligible candidates.

• Where do you currently live and why are you interested in a position located based out of Houston, TX? Are you willing to travel up to 50% of the time, domestic and international?

• What is your current or most recent annual salary (please break down base, bonus, etc.), and what is your desired annual salary for this position?
