A fast-growing, established, global glass manufacturer has an immediate need for a Mechanical Project Engineer in southeastern Michigan. Must be willing to take on company projects around the world with 1-6 month lengths. Ideal candidate will have 2 to 10 years of experience (with some being in a manufacturing plant). Excellent speaking, writing and listening skills (communication). Ability to work effectively with individuals of all business levels in the company. Seeking a self-directed and motivated individual that has an entrepreneur mentality to overcoming problems and organizing solutions in a positive manner. The Engineer will work on both new and green-field projects and projects supporting existing plants. Working knowledge of a variety of utility systems is needed. Will determine design requirements, create cost estimates and time lines, screen bidders and coordinate installation plus maintenance managing with staff. Excellent salary. Great benefits.
