Client involved in the design, production, and support of advanced marine craft and combat vehicles is actively seeking a Principle Structural /Mechanical Engineer to work at their facility outside New Orleans, LA. This role will specifically be involved in the structural design of trailers to military vehicles. Knowledge of FEA structural analysis is required. You should have a minimum of a BSME, 5-8 years of related experience and it is required that you have knowledge of 3-D CAD tools such as Solidworks, NX5 or Pro-Engineer.

You will be responsible for the designing, developing, selecting and integrating vehicle chassis and structural components in accordance with project requirements.It is also desirable for you to have knowledge of CAE tools for structural analysis. Experience in chassis design, Performance/stress analysis, structural component design is required. Knowledge of military and commercial vehicle/trailer standards and specifications is recommended. All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Security Clearance.
