Our client has needs in the north Atlanta, GA for Civil Structural Engineers who have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and who has a minimum of 3 years work experience designing high voltage electrical transmission lines and towers or cellular towers. You will be involved with route selection, foundation and structure design, specifying of materials, bid preparation for construction. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: using state of the art hardware and software; report writing; visiting project sites; working with internal and external customers. A PE license is not required, but you must be willing to obtain this license when you become eligible. Your compensation will be commensurate with your experience and expertise. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidates.
Questions you will be asked:

• From what accredited college or university did you graduate and what was your focus in your Civil Engineering curriculum?

• Tell us about your experience in the areas of either high voltage electrical transmission lines and towers or cellular tower design.

• Do you presently hold an EIT or PE registration? If not, will you gain this registration when you become eligible?

• Tell us about your work experience with each of the following: 1) route selection, 2) foundation and structure, 3) bid preparation for construction of towers.

• With what software are you most familiar in the route selection, foundation and structure, and bid preparation for construction of towers.
