Our Client is searching for an Senior Aerospace Electrical Systems Engineer with minimum of 7 years experience and BSEE. The individual will research, develop, design, and test the manufacturing and installation of electrical components, equipment, and systems for commercial aircraft. The assignments will be broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity and will apply principles, practices, procedures of Electrical Systems to successfully complete assigned tasks. A design background with IFE, PC Power, Seat Power, Proximity Lighting, etc. for commercial aircraft is required, as well as designing and directing engineering personnel in the design of aircraft systems including wire harnesses, wire installation, and equipment installation with minimal supervision. Documentation to support system design, installation and testing (Electrical Load Analysis, Functional Tests, EMI Tests, Transverse Separation Analysis, etc.) will be required to be generated. AutoCad or Pro-Engineering are a must to produce wiring diagrams, architecture drawings, harness parts lists, wire types, etc. Some Coordination with other internal groups, electrical installation, electrical standards, certification, and manufacturing may be required as well as acting as Project Engineer to project assignment breakdown, provide internal technical integration, and assist group manager for performance review and budget control.
