Our client, an international consulting firm serving the oil & gas and industrial markets, has a great opportunity in Houston, TX for an experienced Drafter. This individual will ensure adherence to QA procedures, follow client standards and procedures, coordinate checking and manage the completing of all mark-ups to ensure corrections follow project scopes. To qualify, one must have a H.S. Diploma (or its equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a desired discipline (i.e. piping, structural, electrical, or instrumentation. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in offshore structures, proficiency in PDMS and CAD. This is a good opportunity to get in with a leading company that offers career advancement. The salary listed is an approximation and will be commensurate with experience so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your experience with a) offshore structures and b) CAD.

• What experience do you have in the desired disciplines (i.e. piping, structural, electrical, and-or instrumentation)

• On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the highest), please rate your proficiency level with a) PDMS and b) CAD. Briefly state justifications for these self-ratings.

• If offered this position, what are your salary expectations and when would you be available to begin?
