Immediate Need...An international technology leader is searching for a Electronic Development Engineer in the Houston, TX area. Position is primarily responsible for assisting engineers in the design and development of electronic products. Builds, tests, troubleshoots,repairs, and modifies prototypes, production products and test fixtures. Uses various PC programs and (CAD) tools designing company products, test equipment and fixtures. Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype models. Recommends changes in circuitry to simplify assembly and maintenance. Entry and maintence of Bill of Materials in Made2Manage. Schematic entry and modification using OrCAD. Maintains established policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement, quality assessment and safety standards. Research and evaluate component and packaging technology for cost, manufactururability, performance and reliability. Generate written procedures, and document the stages of the design in both hard copy and electronic copy. Evaluate products and components for logical layout, consistency and ease of use. Include where appropriate design, document various programmable logic devices using CAD aids. Candidates need an BSEE with postgraduate studies preferred or BSEE with 10+ years of related industry experience. Detailed knowledge of digital design architectures utilizing microprocessors, FPGA's, CPLD's and power components as well as communications and Ethernet transmission. The position has a competitive salary, and bonus potential, full benefits and 401K. Local candidates preferred but relocation assistance is available. • Describe your experience assisting engineers in the design and development of electronic products.

• Describe your experience in development of products using various PC programs and CAD tools like Altera and Xilinx.

• Describe your experience devising test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental and life cycle tests. of test apparatus and peripheral equipment.

• Describe experience using Made2Manage and OrCAD.

• Describe experience embedded microprocessors from Motorola and Freescale and microcontrollers
