Large International truck manufacturing company has an immediate need for a Project Leader, Complete Vehicle.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Initiate and develop Verification &Validation plans for specific projects, identify and follow up on project costs through the TRA process, work with the appropriate departments to coordinate prototype vehicle builds, and test scheduling. This will include resource allocation (people, facility and test vehicles), budget status/analysis, gate target fulfillment and feature target fulfillment. Work with the Order Office to coordinate test requests and the TRA. Work with the Feature Leaders to develop feature targets for specific projects. Assist Chief Engineer CV on budget definitions and follow up. Manage all maintenance projects within CV The PMCV should lead and drive project activities within CV in collaboration with adjacent product development departments. Make sure of the department project deliveries, as per the Global Development Process.EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BS Degree in Engineering with, generally, experience equivalent to 3 or more years of progressive automotive experience, OR a minimum of 9 years of applicable progressive automotive experience.
2-3 years in successful project management. Excellent time management skills.Proficiency in personal computer, including MS Project required. SAP experience is desired.
