Immediate Need...An international technology leader is searching for a Field Services Specialist in the Houston, TX area. Position is primarily responsible for visits to customer sites to provide engineering services and to provide customer support by use of email and telephone contact. Responsible for providing investigative, testing and technical support of the company's products on behalf of customers. Perform variety of electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical tests on electronic equipment, subassemblies and parts. Traveling, domestically and or internationally will be required as a normal responsibility of job. May participate in after hours stand by rotation schedule approximately one week per month for providing support to customers who may have an emergency situation and require immediate technical support. Candidates need an Associates Degree or equivalent technical school with 5+ years of related industry experience. The position has a competitive salary, overtime and bonus potential, full benefits and 401K. Local candidates preferred but relocation assistance available for right candidate. Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your experience devising, selecting,and operating electronic instrumentation and related apparatus used for testing operational electronic equipment.

• Describe your experience developing test procedure specifications according to engineering data, characteristics of equipment under test, and capabilities of test apparatus.

• Describe your experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment.

• Describe experience installing or directing technical personnel in installation of unit in test chamber or other test facility.

• Describe experience installing, programming and repairing remote terminal units, programmable controllers, flow computes and related equipment.
