Large Utility Company is located in Chicago, Illinois, and is actively looking for a Senior Regulatory Engineer with professional regulatory experience in the nuclear industry. Candidate MUST HAVE BS in Engineering, with 6 years of regulatory engineering experience in utility or nuclear industry. Candidate must also have a previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license/certification, and first line supervisor experience. Candidate will be responsible for providing in-depth regulatory/technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement regulatory analyses, activities, and programs, providing complete task management of regulatory issues, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, ensuring proper licensing basis management, performing independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of regulatory/technical projects, recommending new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplifying operation reduce costs, and correct regulatory non-compliances, performing Emergency Response Officer (ERO) role, and maintaining qualifications as an active member of the ERO. Company will pay for relocation. Salary listed is an approximation, so all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
