A client that provides energy products and services is actively interviewing for a Sr. Energy Engineer who will be responsible to conduct energy analysis, preliminary and detailed energy audits, monitor and verify energy savings, and energy simulation modeling. A Bachelor in ME or EE is required, preferably with an emphasis on HVAC systems, energy efficiency and sustainable building design. Would prefer candidates have a CEM certification. Experience requirement is at least 4 years of energy engineering performing energy audits, energy engineering analyses, experience with utility energy efficiency and knowledge of demand response programs. Successful candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and building energy simulation software. Salary will be commensurate with your experience in energy engineering. Relocation Assistance is not available therefore Candidates in the Baltimore area are highly encourage to apply. Questions you will be asked:
• Describe the last two projects that you went in to evaluate the EMS systems, and developed a program to optimize the energy use in the facility.
• Which of the following three have you been associated with and which one is your strongest skill? Have you conducted energy audits? Worked with demand response programs? Detailed energy engineering analysis,?
• What type of building energy simulation software have you worked with? Some examples are eQuest, DOE 2, Trane Tracer, Energy Pro or list the one you are most familiar with.
• List your educational achievements, degrees, certifications, or training. Particularly highlight any that include the following: HVAC systems, sustainable building designs, energy efficiency. Do you have a CEM (Certified Energy Manager) certification?
• Where do you presently live? What is your desired annual salary for this position? What is your present annual salary?
