Needed! Senior Packaging Engineer. Client is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to work with their northern Massachusetts team. Candidate needs to have 7+ years of experience in MEMS, optoelectronics or semiconductor packaging. Need bachelors degree in engineering or science (adv. degree preferred). The senior packaging engineer is responsible for leading major design and development projects related to releasing first generation MEMS fuel cell devices to volume manufacturing. You will lead the exploration and advanced design activities related to assembly and packaging of a complex fluidic MEMS assembly. Need to be highly creative and out of the box driven. Will work with outside vendors, develop new assembly methods, manage projects and supervise engineers and technicians. Two skills you must have achieved: 1) Vacuum packaging of MEMS devices (hands-on engineering and production environments) AND-> 2) Development of Manufacturing-ready vacuum-packaging processes for MEMS devices. Must have a team first mentality and be precise in communications. You must be superior at what you do.
