Immediate Need for a Website Designer in Atlanta GA. This is a contract position expected to last 6-12 months. Must have a BS/BA to be considered. Responsibilities include providing web support for the center's web sites. The support will consist of approximately 70% web production including maintenance, HTML & CSS development, graphics support for websites, 10% Archiving and tracking jobs, 20% for other technical support activities such as link checking or Section 508 testing for web activities. Activities will include the following: Site Development: 1) Meet with internal clients about Web tasks or projects, and serve as project point of contact. 2) Assist in the development and revision of the structure and content on the web sites. 3) Convert documents to HTML using Dreamweaver: proficiency in XHTML, CSS and Javascript. 4) Design web page layouts 5) Create 508-compliant PDF documents and conduct advanced editing on the documents 6) Prepare web page graphics 7) Proof web page content before forwarding for review. 8) Upload documents to the web 9) Maintain and monitor various Web directories, documents, accounts, etc Quality Control and Technical. You will have to provide technical guidance to internal clients and on search engines, meta-tags, JavaScript, XML and other more advanced web activities. Additional skills a plus but not required: Familiar with ASP. NET 2.0, SQL, Flash. Will Hire ASAP! Apply Now!
