An EPC firm in Austin, Texas is actively seeking Relay Engineers. Will be responsible for all aspects of T&D and generation relay projects, including design, development of specifications and Bills of Materials ( BOMS ), and construction documentation and print development. Must have experience designing relay and control panels; making relay settings on High Voltage transmission and substations, 12kV to 500KV transmission and distribution stations; T&D control; SCADA design including RTUs and communication interfaces for relays; and electrical power metering. Experience with microprocessor-based relays including Schweitzer, GE, and ABB relay systems is required. Must have a minimum of a BSEE, along with 5 + years experience, and PE registration in Texas (by examination). Proficiency with AutoCAD is desired, and experience with Microsoft Project would be a plus. Some occasional travel is required to client sites. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
