Large Utility Company is located in Chicago, Illinois, and is actively looking for a Principal Regulatory Engineer with superior regulatory/technical expertise in licensing actions, reportability, performance improvement, etc., and recognized regulatory resource (internal/external). Candidate MUST HAVE BS in Engineering or equivalent technical degree, and 15 years of professional experience with nuclear regulatory/licensing. Previous SRO license/certification is preferred. Candidate will be responsible for performing advanced regulatory and technical tasks, providing insights in support of nuclear plant operations, performing independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses, providing regulatory/technical expertise and consultation, providing initial or complex task management of regulatory issues, recommending new concepts and techniques to improve performance, and performing Emergency Response Officer role. Company will pay for relocation. Salary listed is an approximation, so all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
