Very well known design engineering company in northern Texas near Dallas, seeks Sprinkler Designer. This candidate will be responsible for designing water-based Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems to contract specifications, NFPA, and local codes. In addition they will be responsible for analysis of blue prints, site visits, and communication with field and jurisdictional personnel. Sprinkler Designer must work closely with Sprinkler/Design Manager and sales staff. In addition they must design new and existing fire sprinkler protection systems and hydraulically Calculate fire sprinkler protection systems. To be considered candidates must have at least 5 years experience in the fire sprinkler protection design industry. Experience over 5 years also welcomed, and encouraged. Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2000/2004, hydraulic calculations, stock listing, technical products, Microsoft and Computer skills preferred. NICET Certification to the highest level that work experience allows and knowledge of SprinkCad design program is a HUGE plus.
