Fortune 500 company North of Pittsburgh PA has an immediate need for an Electrical Project Engineer. Must have a BSEE and a minimum of 10 years electrical project engineering experience within the steel industry. Steel mill project management experience dealing with power, drives, control, instrumentation, and PLC's is required for this position. Must have a proven track record of plant project implementation, scheduling, and budgetary control. Responsibilities include planning and developing projects for new and existing facilities. You must be able to identify process improvements, provide equipment analysis, and recommend replacements. We are looking for a knowledgeable EE that has experience with finishing equipment, rolling units, trim lines, coding units etc. Must be able to participate in technical investigations, studies, problem review, and provide sound engineering evaluations and recommendations for proposed action. We are looking for a candidate that has experience developing sketches/drawings, preparing layouts, determining specifications, estimating and justifying costs, following progress, and conducting safety and operating inspections.
