My Client located in beautiful Northern Vermont, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop microcontroller firmware. The prospective candidate should have a BSEE or MSEE and have 5+ years experience in real time embedded firmware development. He/she must also have experience in coding for DSP's and low level micro controllers. The Company utilizes microcontrollers and DSPs from TI, Microchip, Atmel, Analog Devices, Renesas, Intel and others. Most projects are completed using 'C' with critical code in assembly language when required (There is no need for C++, Java, etc.). The candidate should be comfortable reading schematics as well as using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters and other bench top test equipment. Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing techniques is desired but not required. Teamwork and effective communication skills are required for this position.
Questions you will be asked:

• List any experience with the following: microcontrollers and DSPs from TI, Microchip, Atmel, Analog Devices, Renesas, Intel and others

• List all experience in detail regarding -C- for embedded firmware.

• Have you read schematics as well as using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters and other bench top test equipment?

• What experience do you have with DSP Techniques and coding?

• List all Degrees and Certificates you may possess.
