Our client, a leading international provider of quality and safety services, is actively searching for a degreed Project Engineer of Safety for their office located in northern New Jersey. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, electrical / electronic / electromechanical equipment design and construction reviews, independently writing reports, overseeing (and often assisting) with performance of testing by the component evaluation center (CEC) and managing assigned projects from start to finish while conducting all work performed in accordance with the company's Quality & Safety manuals.

To qualify for this great opportunity, candidates are required to have a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, 2 to 4 years of directly related experience, demonstrated experience with U.S., Canadian, and other International product safety standards (i.e. ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, IEC), and Conformity Assessment Experience (especially NRTL program and EU Directives). In addition, he/she should have a strong knowledge of power generation and electrical distribution and control products along with excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong customer interfacing skills, proven strategic planning skills, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Oracle, and other common software applications.
